YES! I would love to see a way to customize marker colors the same way you can with label colors.

Agreed, please make it possible to change the default marker color. Would be great to be able to map different marker colours to your keyboard shortcuts (Avid can do it, just saying...)

Additionally on a dark UI please change text to a light color. Right now we have a dark green marker with black text on it... totally illegible. Give option for custom colors and high contrast with text
