bigger area activating Roll/Ripple near an edit point

Please Adobe, can you enlarge the area next to an edit point that activates the Edit (shorten/extend)Roll/Ripple tools? It's now liek a few pixels...! 2 times out of 3, It ends up being the "select" tool and we end up moving the clips instead of editing it/editing the edit point...

Such a simple thing, and that would enhance and speed up editing a lot!
