Bring the New Premiere Pro Mobile Interface to Desktop

With Premiere Rush coming to an end, I’d really like to see the new Premiere Pro mobile interface made available as an optional view within Premiere Pro on desktop.

I really like the simplicity and clarity of the new mobile Premiere Pro experience, but I much prefer editing on a laptop with a keyboard, trackpad, and larger screen. Being able to switch Premiere Pro (desktop) into a mobile-style UI mode would be ideal for quick edits, simple projects, and focused workflows.

This would also be an excellent way for new users to learn Premiere Pro. Starting with the mobile-style interface on desktop would make the learning curve far less intimidating, while still allowing users to gradually transition into the full professional layout when they’re ready.

I don’t particularly want to use Premiere Elements. What I’m asking for is Premiere Pro itself, just with the option to use the same streamlined interface as the new mobile version, but on desktop.

I think this would help retain Rush users, support new creators, and keep everything within the Premiere Pro ecosystem.

Yes I've tried this, wasn't that impressed with it tbh.  It would just be a little more seamless and practical to not have to switch operating system during the transistional period once you out grow the mobile view interface.

Have you looked at the new Elements 2026? It's a stripped version of Premiere Pro.
