Can Premiere show CPS and CPL for subtitles?
Hey everyone,
We work on a lot of projects where accessibility is important, and we follow WCAG guidelines to make sure our subtitles are easy to read for everyone. A big part of that is sticking to limits for characters per second (CPS) and characters per line (CPL).
Premiere Pro doesn’t show CPS or CPL when editing subtitles. It’s a bit of a pain because we have to use separate tools to check if everything’s in line with accessibility rules.
It’d be amazing if Premiere could display this info directly while we’re editing subtitles. Is this something Adobe is working on, or does anyone have a good workaround?
Would love to hear your thoughts!
