Can't do maths in any number fields

Am I misremembering, or could I, until recently, do simple maths in number input fields, like in After Effects (eg. if I wanted to reduce the opacity to half of what it is, I could just type "/2" after the value in the number field). It doesn't work in PPro beta nor the release version - was I imagining that previous PPro versions had this ability? If so, let's bring it in!
