Captions Enhancements

Captions evolved since the latest updates. It will be great if Premiere can read .vtt files instead of .srt only. There's tons of different subtitles formats which will be great to work inside Premiere.

Another idea is to be clearer when the user makes it's own subtitles styles. Like a common folder or something similar with the plugins folder. We need something like this to find easier all the customized styles that users created.

gotta say I went thru hell working with a streaming service in New Zealand with a New York film festival a few years ago...  Did a lot of digging to figure out how to preserve the aesthetic choices of my client...    If I remember correctly, VTT was the way to go.  Stan was a great help figuring out how to make things work...  I think I used subtitle edit to convert my files to vtt...  but it was a few years ago...  https://www.nikse.dk/subtitleedit

@Rick Martins,

Staff can track Ideas better if only one is posted in each Idea.

Upvoted for both parts.

There are formats PR imports other than srt (.scc, .XML), but .vtt is becoming a significant standard. There is also a request for exporting.vtt as well.

There is a new style browser that helps with organizing and using styles - all of which are custom so far.

But it does not appear to support folders, which would be nice.
