Changing Views When Clicking the "Up Folder"

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who finds it annoying when going to the previous folder (up folder), the views change to whatever is set to that folder. 

The problem with that is the order changes when going up to the previous folder. (Ex. Sorted alphabetical FIlenames on List view but Sorted in User Order)
Also, the file you highlighted will be lost, and you need to find it again on a different view. This is a pain if I have hundreds of footage.
Lastly, the nested clips or sequences you created are hard to move to the parent folder, especially if you have multiple subfolders. This is because the view changes from LIST VIEW to ICON VIEW when you UP FOLDER. 
Can you please retain the view (ex. list view) throughout the entire project when clicking up folder?
or maybe add the ability to drag the file or sequence or whatever it is to any tab open tab without opening a new window.
