Clear the Cache of recent files

Please let me clear the cache of recent files on the 'open recent' list. I asked help about how to do this, their solution was for me to pay an extra $150 a month so I can have separate accounts for everyone who needs to use Premiere Pro in my workflow. Photoshop has a 'clear recent files' option. Surely it's not that hard to implement?

I too need an option to clear the list of recent projects.  Older projects get stored on the server.  If I need to dip into an older project I just access it directly from the server, do my quick thing and close it.  But the project stays in the list of recent files.

I've seen two suggestions of how to clear it, because there is no offical button.
1. Delete the Project.
2. Delete the Preferences

I shall definitely NOT be deleting the project, as it's on my server as the backup.  I want to simply remove it from the list, so noone accidentally opens my backup file and messes it up, including me.

I don't want to delete my preferences.

What do I want?  I want the option to simply clear the list.  Just like Adobe Photoshop.
In Photoshop there is an option under FILE > OPEN RECENT > Clear Recent File List.

So there you go, the programming exisits within the dark and damp halls of the Adobe Empire.  Just pop it into Premiere.

Which brings me to another pain point - Why do all the Adobe Programmes look and feel like they're from completely different companies?  Can you not just make them all look, feel and operate the same?  You know, like an industry standard?  It's like writing a programme that moves CTRL + C to a different key.  The Adobe CC programmes are offered as a suite, so just make them like a suite.

Here's another idea - Just put all the programmes together into one big programme.  It's so 90s, having to close one software and open another to do a little thing and then close that software and open the previous to continue.

If you're looking for inspiration, investigate the Avid DS Nitris system.  It's discontinued now, but that was the best software there ever has been.  Avid didn't know what they had after they bought it from Softimage and eventually closed its development.  Now we're all stuck using Adobe and Da Vinci, which are decades behind.
