Content Credentials in Premiere

I am interested in using the content credentials feature that will be released in future versions of Premiere. https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/content-credentials.html?utm_source=chatgpt.com But I have questions about the feature: If I create AI content in Premiere through ChatGPT or some other platform, will I be able to embed metadata about it on export? How will I be able to post the video online so viewers can access the metadata?  Will Adobe offer a way to do this or are there other distribution platforms like youtube or vimeo that will support this function?

Thanks for your response. I have lots of questions about this. I'm a member of a group of creators that meets weekly to discuss AI issues and this is the first we've heard about it.
I and other members would like to find a way to certify exactly how we created our content and this seems to be the way to do it, although industry adoption appears to be a ways off.
Let's assume you use Sora to create a video image. The platform will imbed information about its creation in each video generation.
But once you select the image, you might want to do other things with it. You might want to use another platform to upres it, or add AI created audio to it. What happens if the newly added content comes from a platform that doesn't participate? Is there a way for you to note the details relating to that part of the creative process?
Also, viewers will need to watch the content on a compatible platform. A representative at Vimeo told me that they have no current plans to support the initiative. I assume it's the same story at Youtube, but maybe that will change in time. Adobe Tech support told me they did not support the platform, even in beta versions. Is this true?
How can I and others in my group participate as early users of this tech?
Would somebody be willing to speak to the group?

Hey Joe,

thanks for your interest in Content Credentials in Premiere Pro! I will try to answer your questions.

So, if your content contains C2PA (https://c2pa.org/ being the technical body of the Content Authenticity Initiative) compliant Content Credentials, then Premiere Pro (beta) and Media Encoder (beta) will recognize those externally created assets with credentials on import. If you choose to use those assets either fully, or parts of them in a sequence, we will embed the credentials in the output file.

Plattforms like YouTube or Vimeo must on their side make sure to support the signed content credentials of files uploaded to them.

May I ask what kind of information you are interested to maintain in those workflows? And do you want users to just inspect them, or add information in Premiere Pro?

Hello,
We are a broadcasting organization that would like to provide our content with a certificate of authenticity.
Is it possible to integrate the C2PA tool into Premiere Pro, Media Encoder and Photoshop exports?

At this time, as this is a public beta feature, perhaps you should ask this on the Premiere public beta forum.

You can install the public beta alongside (and therefore separately from) any other CC app installation, and easily test what the metadata content does and also easily post to the public beta forum from that app.

Everyone's mileage always varies ...

Hi Joe,

Thanks for the message. Welcome to the forum. "Discussions" is a user to user forum with little to no interaction from developers. As to the future of this feature, we don't have more info that you have available currently. I'll move your post to the Ideas forum so that the product team can view your request for being able to add metadata to AI content. Sorry for the frustration.

Thanks,
Kevin
