Copy and Paste from Sequence in pont to sequence out point

There needs to be a keystroke that one can copy and paste a portion of an edit from the In Point to the Out Point, REGARDLESS of what is selected.

right now you can press CMD C to copy a selection, but not necessary what is from IN to OUT on a sequence.  One needs to deselect (shift CMD A) to remove a clip selection, then the IN and OUT can be copied and Pasted, otherwise the selected clips is copied, not the In to the Out.

I've been frustrated with this for some time.
