Create sync maps (create stringouts with gaps based on source timecode)

PLEASE add a feature that creates a stringout with gaps based on source timecode (similar to AutoSequence feature in Avid). So many times with lower budget work, I've been given 100+ shots I had to try to sync when timecode doesn't match, the cameras have no scratch audio (they just record 8 dead channels for no reason), and there is no clapper. If I'm able to sync one thing, I'd be able to create a sync map, which can save me tons of time.

A co-worker pointed out that I can basically do this by:
1. In Project Panel, add metadata field Dynamic Media / Camera Label

Without this, audio from a camera will overwrite production audio (ex. if you have A1-A3 on ACAM, and sound mixer recorded A1-A6, then A1-A3 from mixer will be overwritten by camera audio)

2. There's a way to batch add info to Camera Label, but I don't remember. I think it was Metadata Panel; but I can't find "Camera Label" there today for some reason

3. Select video & audio clips, right click / "Create Multicam Sequence", then selecting Timecode / Create single multi-cam sequence, Track assignments: Camera Label.

But this seems like a pretty complicated way to go about it. Also, the sequence will be multichannel rather than stereo.

Here here.  This is so overdue.  Surely there is an easy way to do this.  I entirely agree with KazTa... low budget, multicam, crew didn't nail the sync. NEED THIS FEATURE.
