Creating a Default Sequence with Assets and Footage

I would like to see a feature in Premiere Pro that allows users to save a default sequence with assets so that one could bring it into a project through the Presets menu. As it is right now, one can only save the sequence settings as a preset, but none of the assets come through.

I asked Adobe technical support if there was a way to save a sequence with assets, and they said that there wasn't and that I should post the idea on this forum.

Adding to what Anne posted, we can select a Sequence, export it as a project (separating or from any other Sequences), and then import that into a new project.

To add this, Premiere 2024 will have project templates which you can create and use to start projects with assets and sequences built much quicker

Yes, as Ann said. Also, you can create a 'template' project, just copy it and rename it (in the OS) and you're ready to go.

Also, check out Using Productions within PP.

You can import that specific sequence in any project you want.

Import project and select sequence.

If you import the sequence, you also get the corresponding assets.
