Creation/Modification date for sequences in Premiere Pro

Is it possible to use the "Basic" Metadate fields "Creation Date" and "Modification Date" for sequences as well.

I know sequences are not files (that live outside Premiere, are "just" linked to within Premiere and those date information is actually stored in these actual files and Premiere just reads and can then display that) - but maybe it could be done anyway, so that "inside the Premiere project" where those sequences/timelines exist only their creation and (last) modified date could be saved and the displayed as well...

Yes, I can relate. Me and my colleagues find this missing feature very much needed.

As a long time Avid editor, I see this as an essential component of professional editing. I need to know and sort sequences of edits by their date of creation. I am just amazed that this feature is not a standard as it is in Avid.

Thank you for the suggestion, this is definitely a good idea. The Create/Modified columns are looking specifically at the filesystem metadata like you mentioned, and so it's not trivial to add in an artificial component for sequences. However our team is looking into how we might be able to make something like this work.

Thanks this is a crucial and essential part of a professional editor’s workflow. I'm sure the team can find a way to create a creation and modification timestamps. Even if it will be under a different data columns  (if it makes a conflict with the current column that takes the data from the file system itself). It will be much appreciated. Many of my colleagues suffer from this missing feature as well.
