CSV Markers file IMPORT to sequence or clip

We can export markers, but not import them.

Import -> CSV or TXT or JSON -> markers to sequence or markers to clip.

Nothing too smart, just timecode and marker, maybe even the comment.

This would help integrate with nonstandard workflows and would help prevent us moving the whole workflow to a competitor product.

    Well, here we are on 2025 and still praying to Adobe implement this so precious little feature...

    I also want to one up this one! It's bad enough that there is no automatic beat detection for music, but having to set every marker manually is super painful. Please please please solve this issue finaly.

          This might be a little late to the conversation, but looking up the same topic in the internet I may got a solution for some of you: There is an adobe exchange application that let you import .csv files into premiere. It works for twitch files, maybe it works for other csv files as well.

              So we can export markers, but not import them? I have a sequence from an auto-save that has markers and a new one, which is different only in that it is a multicam, but I had deleted the markers and would now like them back. Wouldnt it be great if I could go into the autosaved version, export my markers and then import them into the new updated sequence?

                I'd like to be able to tag metadata using csv or similar, essential for tagging content in a film archive. We can then use an excel for categories instead of keying everything by hand.
