deleting all or multiple opacity masks at once

I often have 15 to 20 masks, and managing them has become difficult.  When adding an opacity preset, it adds, not replaces the new masks, so I currently have to delete each mask one at a time.   Having the option to replace all existing masks, and/or deleting them all at once would be quite helpful.
