Disable AND ENABLE Master Clip effects in Project panel

Currently it's only possible to deactivate Masterclip effects in the project panel. This command is useless, unless being able to activate all masterclip effects at once as well. Selecting multiple clips with masterclip effects and activating/deactivating all them by one clip would be a very useful command. A keyboard shortcut would also be useful.

Agreed! Hopefully it gets adressed soon.

Gotcha. And yea, that's a pain ... and why I upvoted this request when it first appeared. Like many, I don't understand why it wasn't part of the initial rollout of the options ...

I am fully aware of that. But for rough cuts and quick reviews throwing on a RED LOG to REC 709 Lut is needed to see the footage in proper color space. But as of now you can paste that onto all clips but there is no way to remove it. Therein lies the problem. I'm not talking about specific parameters like ISO, color balance, etc. I just want to be able to throw a simple conversion on all clips and not have to manually go 1 by 1 to possibly hundreds of clips when it's time to do finishing.

. r3d is a "raw" file, with a Source clip control ... as for all raw media, including the braw I shoot all the time. The Autokroma braw plugin I use has presets, but I still need to select those for each clip, though they can be batch applied now.

Raw file controls typically involve all sorts of things, from ISO changes, color management options, gammas, white/black points, all of those things ... way past a "normalization" for log clips.

So raw files do require user intervention ... they are not the same as "standard" log files, that are just normalized to the timeline.

every update (regular and beta) its the first thing I check. Every time I am disappointed. Just updated now and checked again. I just don't understand how you have this option for Arri and then every prosumer camera but not for a Red which is one of the industry standards.

disarms ... have you worked with auto-log detect and auto-tonemapping in 23.6 or 24.0? I'm wondering about the Red files in the newest versions ...

yes yes yes to this! I have been asking for this for a while now. With premiere not being able to convert .r3d to rec 709 automatically, this is sooooo needed. Adobe please have a way that we can batch remove particular effects from SOURCE CLIPS just like we can do on the timeline.

Also a symbol on the clips in the project panel would be nice if there are (active) master clip effects present.

Or filtering possibilities to find them faster.

Maybe also menu entries to disable/enable these effects project wide or for footage in selected sequences.

Just a few ideas to improve this (at the moment) half baked feature

This is frankly ridiculous that this has not been implemented yet. What is holding it back?

While we are at it, I would love to be able remove as well as disable master clip effects. I'm having to replace a LUT on hundreds of clips after updating. I wish I could batch remove rather than simply disable the ill-functioning LUT.
