Duplicate sequence from the actual sequence

Hey all!
Wouldn't it be great to be able to duplicate a sequence from the actual sequence instead of going to the project panel?
I'm thinking I'd love to be able to just click the sandwich menu onmy sequence and have some sort of 'duplicate and switch" kind of option where I can duplicate the sequence and switch to the new one.

It would duplicate the sequence and add a number to the new one (an actual usable version number instead of the useless copy thing that happens now)

For projects where we have loads of versions, like in the advertising industry, that would be a massive time saver.

Instead of revealing sequence in project/duplicate/rename/close the original/open the new one and switching between panels twice in the process, it would be just "duplicate and switch."

Maybe it's just me, but I have an insane number of copies of every sequence, and maybe a project has 2 hero videos, 3 cutdowns of each plus resizes, and you edit like 10 versions of each. It all adds up, and at the end, it's an insane amount of time and effort put into just duplicating, renaming, and switching, and I'd love to have a menu option for that on my sequence.

When on the timeline:

Select all > right click > Make subsequence : Ctrl+A > Shift U

This is an excellent suggestion, IMHO. Anything that eliminates going to another panel will be a time savings.

The one thing that has given me a little bit of sanity in the multi-step process you describe is discovering the keyboard shortcut for duplicating an element in the Project Panel - Shift-Cmd-/ (on Mac).
