A very simple and useful feature would be that when you double-click on a nested sequence, then when you close it, it returns to the previous sequence you were in. After Effects does this when you work with pre-composition.

This would be possible to recreate using cep, but you'd need to be constantly keeping track of the current/previously active sequence.

But man, in that same vein, I'd also love a feature similar to what AE has when you press tab and it shows you a tree view of all comps the current comp is within.

I know the plugin sequence hub exists, but the way it works crawling sequences using CEP absolutely destroys performance for large projects with a tonne of nests as it takes forever to scan through everything. idk if it's possible to avoid that performance hit with the way prem is setup but it'd be so nice, it can be really easy to get lost in nested comps in prem when you're trying to get the render order of effects to play nice
