Please enable 'custom' frame rate option on export settings,
so that users who are editing for example source footage
coming from 8mm or 16mm based on frame rates like 16fps or 18fps,
can export them to such frame rates or other.
you can check the thread here:

I figured out a work around with After Effects. Here's a short video showing it.

I agree with Antoine from Autokroma. We use Autokroma to solve this issue in Adobe Premiere. Autokroma works very good. Using the Autokroma plugin prevented us to swich from Adobe premiere to an other program like Vegas.

Why are you saying I am spamming ? I am reading literally every thread on this forum and coming up with solutions so you can export in the best situation possible, avoiding all troubles with Adobe bugs. How ungrateful

For anyone wondering about the ad-spamming by autokroma in almost every thread concerning this problem: AfterCodecs is payware (~92$) and has nothing to do with Adobe!

Would be great to have your feedback on my method to do it : https://www.autokroma.com/blog/How-to-Export-Custom-Framerates-PPro-AME/
You can test for free the first 500 frames

Stephanie, it's possible to create custom export presets that you can use to export in film friendly framerates. I've attached 3 presets here that you can import and use to export at 16fps and 18fps (with and without sound).

I work a great deal with 8/16mm film; it's MADDENING that I can't do this!

Absolutely unacceptable that this can no longer be done. Who thought it was a good idea to not include this feature, because this is absurd. I pay how much money every year for a system that is fundamentally broken when it comes to film making?

I bought after codec and it's is very good to choose frame rate.
Media encoder should offer this basic option...
