Enhancing Warp Stabilizer to Work Seamlessly with Speed-Modified Clips - A Workflow Solution
Dear Adobe Community,
I'd like to address an important workflow challenge regarding the interaction between Warp Stabilizer and speed-modified clips in Premiere Pro.
Current Issue:
When attempting to apply Warp Stabilizer to a clip that has already been speed-modified (e.g., slowed to 50%), we receive an error message stating that warp and speed effects cannot coexist on the same clip. This creates a workflow bottleneck requiring nested sequences.
Proposed Enhancement:
It would be incredibly beneficial if Warp Stabilizer could:
1. Access the original footage at 100% speed
2. Perform stabilization analysis (on the small portion on the timeline)
3. Automatically apply the speed modification while maintaining stabilization
Benefits:
- Streamlined workflow
- Time savings
- Reduced project complexity
- Better organization of sequences
- Improved final output quality
Would love to hear the community's thoughts on this feature request and whether you've encountered similar challenges in your workflows. This would eliminate the need for nesting sequences and streamline the editing process significantly.
