Essential Graphics / Text editing

The removal of this feature is mind boggling to me. It's become such a hassle now to try and edit text and graphics! I know that there are ways and paths to take to get the text editing window to pop up, but the fact that there has to be these work arounds and no longer a clear, concise, simple drop down button and window for it is just two steps backwards. Please bring back the Essential Graphics editing option.

Like Ann said, not only will the Properties panel give you the same functionality as the EGP did, it also allows you to control Motion parameters of multiple selected clips at the same time which wasn't possible before. The Properties panel is more powerful than you think

The Essential Graphics EGP has been replaced by the Properties Panel and Graphics Templates.

The Properties panel will give you the same functionality as the EGP did
