Export > File Path/Location still does not display full file path

I reported this a long while ago (probably when the “new” universally loathed export tab thing was first introduced...I guess we’ve just got used to the unnecessary multiple clicks it now takes to do basic stuff we took for granted in the good old days), but it’s still not been fixed, so here we go again:

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Send something to export.
  2. Make the Settings column of the Export page wider.

 Result: …

The export file path remains very unhelpfully squished


Expected:

Full file path should be displayed if there’s enough space (which there is).

    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v26.2.0.14

    Welcome to the new Adobe Premiere community. Thank you for taking the time to report a problem. Although this is not a bug, I would agree with you; the file path (location) is not helpful when it is squished like that. I know you mentioned you have requested this before, and I'd definitely love to see Premiere improve this feature in a future release. File path is so important when trying to keep track of everything. Keep sending those good ideas to Adobe, we appreciate the feedback.

      They need an actual full file naming schema setup ... like SpeedGrade used to have, like Resolve, like ... you name it. With options for what to put in the name, and for user presets for saved option sets.

      Everyone's mileage always varies ...
