Feature Improvements - Clip Labels

I will often times change the color of my clip in my timeline in order to define each clip/type more individually. As of now, I am disappointed with the color selection for the clip labels. Most of the colors are blue-ish or revolve around blue/purple/green and I find that the labels are not different enough to be able to discern between them. I think it would be a lot easier for my workflow if the colors were a little brighter and more diverse, even red, orange (not just mango), bright yellow, bright green, white, rich brown, etc.

A lot of the colors are very similar for example rose and magenta, iris, teal and cerulean, violet and purple.

You can do an amazing array of things to the colors of the media, graphics and whatnot in Premiere at this time.

To add to what Neil said, Colin of VideoRevealed has a great video on this: https://youtu.be/F1zIjcxKHEQ?si=xTql5DeDpqU-1xp4

Go to the Labels tab in the preferences.

First, see the little color box by each listing? Like everywhere else in Premiere, those are set to bring up the color picker dialog. Click one, and you can do anything for saturation, hue, and lightness.

Next, there are several options for UI label schemas, from classic to Vibrant. Try those.

You are aware that you can create your own label color presets and save multiple versions right? You aren't stuck to the defaults or even the other factory options that come installed.
