Feature Request: Persistent Playback Speed in Premiere Pro (Sticky Play Rate after Pause)

I use fast playback like 2x with the L key to edit long videos in Premiere Pro. But when I pause with Space or K, playback always resumes at 1x. I want Premiere to remember the last speed after pause. Can you add this as a feature?
