Find (and select) every use of a clip across sequences, including inside nests

In any long-form or multi-deliverable job, one of the most common questions in the edit is "where else have I used this clip?" usually because a client wants a shot swapped, regraded or pulled for clearance.

Right now the Video Usage column in the Project panel tells you how many times a clip is used, and Reveal in Timeline takes you to one instance at a time. What's missing:

1. A list of every use, across every sequence, with sequence name and timecode
2. Uses inside nested sequences, resolved back to where they land in the master
3. A way to select every use in the active sequence at once, so you can Paste Attributes, nudge, label or delete them together
4. A note when the same media file has been imported twice, which is often why a "replace" only catches half of the uses

Would love to see this built into Premiere.

In the meantime, for anyone who needs it now: I'm a freelance editor and grader and I built a free UXP plugin that does this, called Trace. Full disclosure, I made it. It's free, with no account or licence key:

If others want this natively, please upvote so the Premiere team sees it.

Thanks for reading and would love to hear your thoughts!
