Global keyboard shortcuts

I find it annoying that some keyboard shortcuts are panel-specific. For example, I'd like to be able to show or hide guides without having to click on the Program panel. I'd be happy if I could press the keyboard shortcut regardless of what I'm doing in PPro, and all my guides, on all program or source panels, would toggle their appearance status. Guides do not make an appearance in the timeline, so there's no reason why, if I've got the timeline as the active panel, pressing a "show/hide guides" keyboard shortcut shouldn't show/hide the guides in the associated program panel.

There are a few other shortcuts (I can't think of them right now) that are overly fussy about whether they'll work or not depending on what I'm doing in PPro, and I'd prefer to have the option of making a keyboard shortcut global, so no matter what I'm doing, it would just do its thing.

Yea, I've thought about this a bunch. Especially as some of the pre-built global ones I rarely if ever use.

I have gone through and manually changed some so that they work on all panels for me.

Everyone's mileage always varies ...
