Have a remove disabled clips option in the sequence.

It would be great if there was a option to delete all clips in a sequence that are disabled.

Working in film trailer marketing we edit offline material with watermarks and have to prep/clean up a lot of sequences before delivering to the studio finishing house where they have the clean footage and export the finals.

Assistant Editors have to clean up the sequences and organize the audio by dialogue, sfx, and music. A lot of the times there are a bunch of old sfx or dialogue lines that are still in the sequence but not being used.

It would be fantastic if we could just remove all of those clips that are not needed with one click.

@William Hamilton awesome, this is helpful! just fyi, your link has an additional hyphen at the end which makes it so you're taken to a broken link page instead of the intended link. but yeah, this is great. thanks.

If you right-click your sequence in the Project window and select Simplify Sequence from the menu items you can create a duplicate version of the sequence AND remove your disabled clips.  You also have other options for modifying your sequence in the Simplify Sequence menu.  I just used it on a sequence with many layers of disabled video clips and it worked great.

Hope this helps!
