Hey y'all, can video applications be different colors again?

Just a thought. I'm sitting here with Premiere pro, Animate, Character Animator, Media Encoder, and After Effects open. Literally every icon is purple. I get that they are all video apps, but I kinda miss the unique color palettes for these programs.

is it just me?
ok.

To give you a head start, here's a .7z of some .ico's

That was the 'hardest' part, gathering the icons together. Some I found on the net, just google 'Adobe icons 2015' or such. Once you get them, it becomes easy. I just spen 45mins trying to make one work... now I remember clearly, trying to gather them together.

Your icons look like the icons we used to have 10-15 years ago 😉

Are you reusing the old icons?

When you make your own, they don't get deleted when you install a new version, so you can keep using them. Just delete the ones that are created new.

Been using custom icons for over a decade from places like macosicons.com and Deviant Art. Really allows them to stand out on the Dock

I appreciate the responses y'all. I'll get around to loading custom icons. Maybe in a future update, the video apps could share a similar color palette but with more hue contrast to quickly distinguish each program.

Very true, and I totally agree!

MyerPj has a workaround, you just gotta re-do it every time you get a new update/patch installed. Sigh.

Here's mine.

Once you have the icons you can assign them to the desktop shortcut
