Hi Adobe team, I’m a long-time Premiere Pro user. I’d like to share a few issues and suggestions t

1. Reveal in Project – Inconsistent Panel Behavior

When using multiple project panels, the “Reveal in Project” function often highlights the clip in a random or previously active panel, not the one I originally opened the clip from.

It would be great if the clip always appeared in the same panel it was first accessed from.

2. Trim Edit Mode – Fullscreen Option

I’d love to see a fullscreen trim edit mode, similar to what Final Cut Pro 7 offered.

The current layout feels too restricted for fine trimming work.

3. Track Lock Shortcut (Per Track)

There’s currently no shortcut to lock/unlock individual timeline tracks.

A simple keyboard shortcut for this would speed up track-specific editing significantly.

4. Merged Clip – Manual Sync Adjustment

If a merged clip is out of sync, there’s no way to manually slip the audio or video inside it.

It would help a lot to have manual sync adjustment inside merged clips — a flexibility Final Cut Pro 7 used to offer.

5. “Make Independent Clip” Feature

I often want to duplicate a clip in the timeline and edit it independently without affecting other instances.

A “Make Independent Clip” function would allow for this kind of non-destructive editing.

Thanks for listening, and I hope some of these ideas can be considered in future updates!

Most users learn to avoid the "merge clips" option as there are too many drawbacks. Multicam may not sound like it but that is the better way to join video and audio tracks.

The "make independent clip" sounds like either the current subclip or duplicate clip options already available. More specific descriptions of what you want nay help.
