Hover > popup appears to show duration of empty blank gap in timeline

When I hover over a clip in the timeline a popup appears showing the clip duration etc, which is useful.

When I hover over an empty gap in the timeline, even if I’ve selected that empty gap, a hover > popup does not appear. It’d be useful if one would appear telling me the duration of that gap, so I know how much footage I need to fill it.
