How to make #n photos occupy a total of #S seconds?

Let's say I want to fill a 25 second space with 7 still photos. What's the quickest way to set these photos to the correct duration in premiere pro?

Right now, I use an online timecode calculator to calculate 25 divide by 7, then place the 7 photos on a timeline and manually set each of their duration.

Is there a better way?

You can give Tobun from Adobe Exchange a try: https://exchange.adobe.com/apps/cc/109226?pluginId=109226

A TC calculator would be a cool idea.

Thanks,
Kevin

I'm looking for solutions that can be used right now. It does not need to be fully automatic.

This is not a frequently used feature so I don't expect it would be implemented. However, a timecode calculator would be a useful feature to have.

Hi @avpromedia,

Thanks for the note. You want a way to automate an edit to the sequence filling a duration with a selection of still images. Sorry, that feature is not supported. I'll move this into the Ideas forum. I hope that's OK.

Thanks,

Kevin
