In and out point cuts

Requesting a Hotkey feature that allows adding a cut to a clip or selected clips where there are in and out points set.  So, for example, on a clip, select an IN point and 2 seconds later I select an OUT point.  On those points be able to hit a hot key command that Add Edit to those two points.
