Is there a way to find duplicate frames within one clip?

I do alot of Analog transfers, usually from old 8mm film reels. During their transfer process, the film occasioanly gets caught on the spokes and freezes, just like with a projector. This shows up in the recrding so I have to load them in premier and watch them over to edit out the forzen sections. Sometimes there is hours of footage to watch through and its gets to be very time consuming. Is there a way to identify "Frozen" sections in a clip, like maybe by idenitfying similar/repeating frames?

Followup, is there already a script or plug infor this or would something like this be easy to make?

Hello @Does Not Comply,

Thanks for the message. I can understand your ask and I don't think there's any tool in Premiere Pro that can assist with such digital artifacts with captured analog material. It's a nice idea, though. I'll move your post to the Ideas forum. I hope it helps.

Thanks,
Kevin
