Is there a way to have Productions keep all Auto-Saves in one folder?

I would like all projects within my production to auto-save to the same folder. This keep my production folder tree clean, and keeps me from having dozens and dozens of Auto-Save folders. This seemed to work for a while, but now I keep having all these Auto-Save folders pop up in my Production sub-folders. There's like 8 of them now.

In my Production Settings I have Auto-Save set to "Same as Production." Anything else I can do? It's annoying and confusing to have all these Auto-Save folders scattered about.

So, I'm only selecting the _AS (autosave) folder in the Scratch disk dialog and Adobe creates the folder from the screenshot.

Yeah, that's how I have mine, too. It's not too terrible to manage, to be honest. Is this what you're seeing @lehestro? Let us know.

Thanks,
Kevin

I must not understand the situation. If I would set autosave to 'Same as Production' then I would expect to see all those Auto-Save folders. But, I have mine set to actually a different drive and folder, and then they all go into that drive/folder into one folder.

Hi @lehestro,

Thanks for the post. I don't believe there is a way, but it's an interesting idea. I'll move your post to the Ideas forum.

Thanks,
Kevin
