It wasn't Broke, Why'd you "Fix" it?

I've worked almost exclusively on Adobe Premiere since 2012 as it's the standard almost everywhere and in all this time, Premiere has always looked the same. Sure maybe there were a few small changes but nothing nothing so drastic as what I'm experiencing now as I've had to jump from 24.3.0 to 25.0 for work.

Visually, It hurts to look at. Darkest is too dark, Dark is too light. Don't even @ me about the Light version. Everything is so vibrant and sharp. The fonts narrower. I cannot use the label colors I've been using for years because it makes the audio display as dark waveform, light background, which is the reason I've stayed at 24.3.0 for months now. And if I want my good ol light on dark I have to use darker shades which are only serving to further hurt my eyes.

I am autistic. Not only is the sudden, drastic change - which I had no warning for and almost zero control over - rankling at me, but its visually overstimulating as all hell. And your accessibility toggle makes it worse! How am I supposed to do my job when it HURTS to look at it? Seriously, is NO ONE on your product testing roster neurodivergent?

Give me the old look back. Give it to me as an OPTION at least. I just wanna do my job.

You haven't used the available options apparently.

Separate the audio and video label colors. Then set your audio to what you want.

Yeah but that doesn't fix the stupid dark waveform, light background.  So it's either I either pick all new colors or I deal with that and both options frankly suck!

If you want to know what is going to change in the near future, download the beta once in a while.

You can check the Classic, then you can mod the colors, to get to nearly exactly the old colors.

As to audio, you have to delink audio from video track colors, and set the audio color, to get that behavior back.

A bit of work, but doable. Wish we didn't have to do that but oh well.

That's what I'm saying, man x_x  none of the three color theme options are quite like the old one - and if i want the colors I'm used, then I have to deal with the friggin light bg/dark waveform.

I'm also autistic. I would suggest going through the various UI schema options, picking the closest to useful, then modifying all the colors to your needs.

And you can get the audio looking 'normal' again, you do have to delink audio from video label color in the Sequence menus somewhere I think.
