Lately, (24.6.4), my program viewer keeps changing from "fit"

I normally leave my program viewer (I think that is what it is called, it's the place my video plays when I press run from my timeline) set to "fit". I've noticed lately that I keep accidentally doing the right mouse scroll motion (2 fingers up and down on my trackpad), and that changes the fit, to some other real number.

 

Is there a way to lock that setting to "fit" so it doesn't keep accidentally changing? I feel like this is new and it did not use to happen for me on previous versions or PR

    Yes! but all my joy with 25 has taken a dark turn. I'm about to post an issue I'm having after a very hard crash (had to reboot my mac to get adobe to run again).

    Would you like to withdraw this feature request then, @peterkellner1? The same thing has happened to me too. Once I get used to it, I can't live without it. 🙂

      I have to admit, now that I better understand what is going on, I really like zooming and panning around my viewer window on my timeline. I mostly didn't understand it when I was complaining in the post. It really makes it easy to do precise placement of things like graphics.

          The Program monitor does scroll size now whether scrolling with mouse or trackpad. It used to scrub down the timeline.
