We are gauging interest to see if our users' aesthetic needs are being met!
Is the current color scheme of the interface sleek and professional or do you wish it was lighter? Is it easy on your eyes during tedious edit sessions? Most importantly, do you wish it came in pink?

Here's a link for more details on current interface customizability: https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/workspaces.html#brighten_or_darken_the_interface

PLEASE, high contrast in the interface as a possibility. Specifically, very dark text against a light background.

I appreciate the dark space when reviewing colors and light in a video. But the vast majority of my time is spent in assembling things, getting titles just right, editing audio, etc. None of those need a dark UI and just make it very tiresome to use the software.

There was a time when Premiere, et. al., let the OS dictate the look and feel of the applications. Then, sometime after the Macromedia acquisition and the drive to look more "Avid-like," that capability was snared by the applications. A black UI works in an edit bay, where you used to have a full ashtray, two 3/4" decks, and two 12" monitors. It does NOT work in the typical cube-farm, which is, SURPRISE, not lit with a single 40-watt bulb. Enough with the nihilistic look already.

It would be very nice to have a Light Mode with dark text on a light background. Much better readability and helps in different work environments.

And this is the worst. Who can possibly see the current gain setting of 3 dB?

Yes, ,please!!! Light gray text over dark gray background is very hard to see!
Please make an option for WHITE text instead of gray. Or make the background white, with black text.

A bright colour scheme with contrasted scroll bars and workspace dividers would be much appreciated as I have great eye sight but sit in a very bright workspace when I edit (I work in a conservatory!) and even with the screen brightness right up, it takes way longer than it should for me to find the scroll bars etc which slows down my work.
I wish there was a light mode.
I have just made my interface as bright as possible in the settings, but even more would be great 😄 Thank you for asking for feedback!

Customization is always welcome, a brighter interface option would definitely be nice to have, as for a color tint, if some people need it then maybe that an option as well, the ability to significantly increasing the lightness of the interface and also adjusting the color tint or lack there of would be welcome additions, I'm all for accessibility and growing the adobe user base family!

It would be an amazing thing if you could implement a light theme, i really need the option given that i start to get severe eye irritation during long sessions of straining my vision on dark UI applications, it affects my ability to meet deadlines effectively.

The ability to make the interface something brighter that black or dark grey would be extremely helpful to individuals such as myself and for those with vision impairments.

I will forever remain a loyal customer if you could please allow more control over the brightness of the interface, even an implementation similar to what is currently available in photoshop and bridge, allowing users to select a UI theme that’s basically white.

Thank you for taking the time to listen to users!

Hi there,

I feel a light background for the user interface would be of tremendous help to those of us who:

a) are in their 40's and need glasses to read the screen (I am long sighted and find "dark" modes on all applications difficult to work with)
b) who work in brightly lit/sunlight lit environments on the whole and find that any dark UI is almost invisible under these circumstances
c) for those who have very dark black monitors. I have such a monitor (a QHD resolution monitor from Dell) and no matter how high one sets the lightness settings available in your preferences section, the controls/icons are still too hard to see and find easily. If they were black against a white/light greyish background the problem would go away.

Kind regards
Mike Howell
