Link a MARKER to a group of materials in the timeline?

I have a set of materials in the timeline which I plan to edit later, so I put a marker above it and add some notes in its properties like a description and a name, maybe change the color. If the Ripple sequence markers option is on, the marker moves once you ripple delete something before it. But if you move this part with the marker above it via the Track select forward tool or just by selecting all the clips in this part, the marker remains in its place. 

I would LOVE to have such a useful feature where I can link markers to a specific set of materials in the timeline. Please VOTE!

NB: no nesting, no color labeling as advice please.
