LUT import button in premiere.

I would like to see a proper LUT import button in premiere. I’m tired of finding the folder path to drop in my LUTS. It feels like 2005 when I have to find a long folder path to do something. Can we just have a button in premiere where I can import them quicker? Seems like a doable feature.

If settings sync returns, can we sync LUTs in the cloud?

I have an icon on my desktop for the folders I use to store LUTs so that they’re available in the appropriate locations in Premiere ... so I can add them pretty quickly and easily. And of course, as I use the proper locations, they are seen correctly within Premiere.

So I don’t spend any extra time importing LUTs into Premiere. That said, having an option within Premiere to copy LUTs to the correct locations would be very handy for a ton of people. Happy to upvote.

    Thank you for the upvote.

I do the same as you, keep a folder with all my LUTs on my working desktop. I have a lot of trouble remembering the folder path. I have it written in a txt file, or I’ll have to google the folder path. I cant believe we still have to use txt files and folder paths to do work in Adobe…. just typing it out makes me realize how ridiculous it is.

I posted this same request last year, hopefully it gains some traction this year.

My desktop icons are for the folders on disc that Premiere uses for user LUTs per each location, Input, Basic tab (“technical” folder), and Creative tab. And yes, not to the Program folders as that’s bad to do, but to the external folders for each that Premiere searches and lists. So I don’t do any path checking if I want to add or remove LUTs.

I click the icon on the desktop, that folder on disc opens.

But you’re right, we should have long ago had an easier “built-in” way to do LUT maintenance. AND ... it should have a ‘refresh’ option so that anytime we change things like the LUTs or add effects presets and such, they are always then available for use without having to relaunch which forces Premiere to check for new stuff.
