Make Rate Stretch Work Like Ripple (with modifier key)

I'd like it if I could rate stretch a clip AND have it push the next clip forward in the timeline, maybe with command or option?

Nice feature request, but don't see this happening any time soon. Hence, the 'workaround'.

Thanks Ann, the rate stretch tool is far more helpful to extend/contract a clip exactly how much I want.

Use the Speed/Duration and check ripple edit, shifting tailing clips.
