Making a Sub Multicam Sequence Group that doesn't create a sequence

Premiere 24.6.1 (experiencing issues with 25 so staying in 24 for now)

MacBook Pro 14 inch 2021 M1 Max

Ventura 13.7

I am working on a scripted show with multicam sequences. Inside the sequences are 2 cameras and 6 tracks of audio. Sometimes, there are multiple takes of a scene within each multicam sequences. It would be great to sub out each of these takes into a multicam group that doesn't turn into a sequence, so that when the new subbed out multicam is double clicked, it loads in the source monitor rather than a program sequence. Right clicking and loading into the source monitor is not ideal (and I dont think even works).

I know Avid had a sub-group shortcut that you set an in-out within a multicam group and you could make sub-groups. Is this possible in Premiere? It would help me find lines within each take easier than scrubbing through the three takes in one multicam sequence.
