More easy conversion from vbr to cbr.

The iPhone records videos using VBR. Adobe Premiere prefers CBR. The conversion process should be easier. This applies to Adobe Premiere on both the iPhone and the PC.

I made a few tests, but did not get to complete them. I am on iPhone 17 Pro Max and often shoot to ProRes. The test I just did all turned out to be CFR 30 (not 29.97); I could not get VFR to occur.

I believe Ann is correct; there is no iPhone setting that guarantees CFR. There are third party camera apps that can do this on the newest phones. There is too much inconsistent info on line to research this well.

I believe the “compatible” setting has no effect on framerate; it avoids using hevc/heic.

Your 30 fps might be due to Prores.

Oh. Sorry. I did a mistake. I meant VFR to CFR. But AI told me, i should do some changes in the preferences on the iphone. That would solve my problem. Please, excuse me.

I have an Android phone (and I don’t record video with my phone) but other messages I have read say to change the iphone settings to ‘most compatible’ (since I don’t have an iphone I can’t verify this)
