Motion Settings Pop Up in Timeline

I'd love to see the ability to set Motion parameters in the timeline via some version of a pop-up box or hover-based option menu. Position, Scale, Rotation, etc. I want to be able to adjust these parameters without needing to switch over to the Effect Controls menu all the time. This would be a similar improvement to what was done with the Properties panel in AE, but I'd want to have the option to make these adjustments in the timeline.

EDIT: I'm aware that there are options to see those parameters by right clicking the "fx" box in the upper left corner of each clip, but that is cumbersome and doesn't give the option to type in numeric parameters or make adjustments via keyboard arrows. I guess I'm asking for a more advanced version of that functionality that's more user friendly.
