Multi-cam/original source clips automatically removed

The default setting shouldn't be that all the source clips are automatically removed after making multi-cam clips. I have now learned that there is a setting to avoid having this happen, and that should be the default. Often, there are mistakes when using the automation process to make multi-clips, but for some reason undo doesn't get you back to the state before the multi-clips were made so you have to reimport all those files again as far as I can tell. This could be a disaster for someone who is not perfectly organized.
