multiple subtitles

We are broadcasting films with subtitles by embedding them and sometimes we need to embed subtitles in more than one language if the original language is other than English.  But premiere doesn't recognize two subtitles on the screen at the same time. If one is active, the other subtitle track becomes passive automatically. For example if we are working on a video, let's say in Japanese, we need to add Turkish and English subtitles on the screen which must be seen at the same time. But it is impossible unless we turn them into graphichs. And sometimes we are supposed to arrange in and out timecodes which makes it harder when one of the subtitles are used as a graphic title. Also we cannot export this transformed subtitle as srt file.

Secondly, if two subtitle timecodes overlap (and they have different start and end timecodes), we cannot make a modification as the second subtitle track isn't recognized on screen. For example there is a dialogue in the video and we have a subtitle for it but we cannot place an additional OST in the same timecode if there is already one subtitle there. If an8 encoding is defined in the srt file, it is possinle only the OST and subtitle have the same in-out timecodes.

Additionally, in order to archive the subtitles, we need to export all srt files (subtitle and OST). Therefore, we need an update to see multiple subtitles on the screen in sync.

@demet_6179,

Multiple tracks enabled is available in the beta version.

Multiple tracks can be embedded even if they are not enabled.

Yes, there are significant limitations.
