Need option to hide right (R) and left (L) audio track icons (or badges?) from timeline

That link goes no where. I'll upvote this one I guess. How is this not already a thing? Editing stereo audio in premiere is a pain because of that L and R overlay. We can't see the beginning and ending audio waveforms for the clip.
