🎙️ Audio VST Effects like Duckers which I want to use for voiceovers need sidechain to work.
(Lower music volume when voice is speaking)
So please please Adobe, implement this normal professional feature in Premiere Pro.

Auto-Ducking is “destructive” or non-dynamic as it needs to generate keyframes.

When you want to change settings, you need to re-generate, when you move your clips around, you need to re-generate them. Also. you can’t change the ducking values over time as it would be possible with a VST or inbuilt effect.

There are also good reasons for using VSTs as you can use them almost everywhere. So you don’t have to learn a new piece of software or search for settings, instead you can always use the same UI and know how it will behave when used.

Sidechaining is also used for other reasons, so ducking isn’t the only possibility.
