NEST copying - subnests should be copied too!

When copying a NEST in the project panel and there are NESTs inside it, the inside ones don't get duplicated SO you end up changing that element elsewhere in the project without realising it.

When coping a NEST, all NESTS inside should also become a new instance so you can edit it without breaking other parts of your sequence.

Yes, it makes it very difficult when trying to duplicate elements. Plus it should remind you with a message or tooltip when coping in this way as a warning.

You’re right! When copying a NEST, it should duplicate all the nested elements as new instances, so you don’t mess up other parts of your project. Sadly, most editing software (like Premiere Pro) doesn’t do this automatically. To avoid the issue, you can manually duplicate the nested sequences first or use the "Create New Sequence from Clip" option to keep everything separate.
