New Beta Color Labels are terrible

If you are using the beta Premiere, you will have noticed that they forcefully changed our color label in the timeline to some really annoying and unusable colors with a weird contrastual look.

It looks like an 8 bit tetris game like they're trying to go back to the 80's editing color style for some reason. Even after manually changing the colors back, they still do not look good and it can be hard to see the waveform well on audio when zoomed out due to the change.

Dear adobe,

if you're going to change something major like color labels which we rely on when editing, allow us to opt in or out. I do not want to be apart of this new color change that I would assume will eventually make it to the normal version of PP.

Sounds like you have the setting in your Creative Cloud app to update automatically when app updates are available.

I didn't update. It was updated without my consent, automatically... when I opened Premiere.

Out of curiosity, why did you update in the middle of a project and were you aware of this being the public beta for the last 4-6 months?

Is weird to force feed this... Why not simply allow people to pick their own colors. Why change my workspace whiout permission, this is the kind of thing that makes me want to check out Davinci Resolve Now...

Is there any way to switch back? I am in the middle of a project where the color labels became important. Now they have all shifted. Yellow is literally the same as brown. What kind of prank is this?

True ... but they do have threads on all the new items, including this. And THAT is where the devs do hang to see what users think. Although some will see something on the Ideas board here.
