New project creation page

Please for the love of all that is holy, get rid of the new project creation page. It's just bad. Why do I need to see these clips from who knows what. You know nobody is going to use them. This page should be much simpler and more straight forward. I don't know who you created this for but it's not for professional working editors

    I am locking this idea, as it is a duplicate of an idea that will soon - by the end of January - be migrated to this forum. Once the migration is complete, I encourage you to add your voice to the existing idea related to your suggestion.

    I fully agree that the New Project page is hell. But I also can't remember the last time I've ever used it... We use template projects that sit in a default folder structure that is ready to go for any new project.

     

    Maybe it could benefit from some more design changes but I wouldn't have any idea what a non-professional would like to see.
